about Moderating.eu

Moderating.eu is a collective of moderators focused on Europe and the EU.

Moderating.eu is the one-stop shop for interaction designers, moderators, and trainers in Europe. The collective has a core group of EU-specialized moderators and an extensive network covering many member states, backgrounds, interests, styles, and competences. Their team is almost always able to find a great moderator matching the goals, audience, topic, and atmosphere of an event, even when multiple moderators or a last-minute substitute are needed.

United in diversity, their moderators work according to collective standards and methods, engaging in peer learning and development. They are involved at an early stage, collaborating with clients to help define goals clearly, find methods to reach those goals, and design an agenda that suits them. They help clients get the most out of their events.

Their moderators ensure that everyone understands the topics at hand. More importantly, they ensure understanding of the desired direction of the conversation. They know how the EU works, including the jargon and protocol, yet strive to keep conversations meaningful, inclusive, and as relaxed as possible. Interaction and engagement are key to achieving this.

They work for EU institutions, for-profit organizations, non-profit organizations, and national and local governments. Their expertise ranges from in-depth discussions to award shows, from big events to intimate round-tables, bringing a combined 100 years of EU experience. They adhere to an integrity code with high ethical standards that ensures their independence and trustworthiness.

They can provide interaction tools, a mobile studio, and other equipment for a memorable event. They can train and coach speakers for compelling storytelling, train (sub) moderators and facilitators, and assist in designing and preparing sessions.

They are on a mission to change the standard of events in Europe and the EU, ensuring events are engaging, inclusive, and impactful. Their goal is to create events where people are on the edge of their seats and there are no spectators, only participants.

If the event meets the expectations of your guests, it has failed. They should be exceeded.
